It's easy to see why the Pokemon games have become popular worldwide. They look cool, they have special fighting abilities, they have personalities, and they are backed by a good solid story. Here are four fire Pokemon favorites.
Ponyta:
Number 77 in the National Pokedex is the fierce Ponyta. Standing at 3'3" and weighing 66 pounds, Ponyta's physiology is very much like that of a horse, except its mane and tail are made of fire. Because it is capable of jumping over very tall buildings, its hooves are ten times harder than diamonds. It lives in either the grasslands or mountains and eats grasses, shrubs, and berries.
Rapidash:
Rapidash, Number 78 in the National Pokedex, is the end result when Ponyta evolves. Its physiology is very much like Ponyta's except it has a unicorn-like horn. In addition, his head, lower back, and ankles are clothed with fire. It is very competitive and will chase other Pokemon in the hopes that it will be able to race with it. In the wild, it is often spotted racing with other members of its herd. Gaining the trust of a Rapidash is crucial if burns are unwanted. Its hair is extremely hot and can cause painful burns upon touching. If, however, Rapidasha's trust were gained, one would be able to touch its hair and its mane as well, even though it is made entirely of fire.
Magby:
When you take a look at who Magby, the National Pokedexs 240th Pokemon, evolves into at Level 30, it is hard to believe that such a dangerous Pokemon can come from something so cute. Although it stands at a mere 2'4" and weighs 47.2 pounds, Magby's body temperature and fire that it breathes exceeds 1,100 degrees Fahrenheit. His well-being can be determined by its flame's health. If the flame is yellow, then the Magby is healthy; however, if the smoke is black, then it is unhealthy or exhausted. It can be found in volcanic craters
Magmar:
Number 126 in the National Pokedex is Magmar, which stands at 4'3" and weighs 98 pounds. Its body temperature is 3,300 degrees Fahrenheit and needs to live near an active volcano or anywhere else that can help sustain his body temperature throughout its lifetime. If, however, it is in a cold environment, it will blow flames throughout its body and even his mouth. When Magmar does this, he is able to hide in flames. In battle, it uses the flames that surround his body to intimidate his opponents.
